In the high altitudes of Himachal Pradesh a lone man begins a 500-kilometre journey with his sheep. Each year the gaddis of Himachal Pradesh make an arduous journey across the mountains, through snow bound passes, coming back home for only a few months. This film is the story of these gaddi men and their families and an ancient livelihood that they are fighting to keep alive.
