Akole from a remote village of chizami in the eastern himalayas and Neelam from Assam are bound by a singular mission – preparing their communities against the changing climate. Ancient knowledge is ingrained in their songs and stories, a deep wisdom of small seasonal changes that guide them to grow food in partnership with nature. Solutions that are science based and ancient knowledge that is region specific can come together to create resilience in the face of climate change.
